Powering Down

Powering down is about improving energy efficiency, especially in our buildings.

Doing this saves money – at an individual level because you use less energy, and at a national level because less energy needs to be produced, so less infrastructure is needed with reduced operating costs.

And it’s about reducing impact on the environment: lower carbon from energy production and fewer materials needed to produce new infrastructure.
